CSC Saidu Assumes Duty As New PRO Of Customs FOU Zone B, Kaduna

Chief Superintendent of Customs, CSC Saidu Nuruddeen, has taken over as the new Public Relations Officer, PRO Nigeria Customs Service Federal Operation Unit FOU Zone B Kaduna.

Sa’idu, who previously served as the PRO of the NCS Kano/Jigawa Area Command, takes over from CSC Isah Suleiman, now redeployed as the PRO of NCS Seme Area Command, Lagos.

At the official handover ceremony in Kaduna last weekend, Suleiman expressed gratitude to his colleagues for their support throughout his tenure.

He appreciated the NCS for the opportunity to serve in Kaduna and now in Lagos, reflecting on the progress made under the various Comptrollers he worked with.

Recognizing the media as key partners, Suleiman urged journalists to extend their cooperation to his successor, describing the transition as bittersweet, noting that while leaving Kaduna was emotional, he was grateful for the experience and contributions made during his tenure.

Remarking also, the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kaduna State Council, Comrade Abdulgafar Alabelewe, commended Suleiman for his dedication and assured CSC Sa’idu of the media’s commitment to fostering a professional and transparent relationship with the Customs Service.

In his acceptance speech, CSC Sa’idu pledged to build on the foundation laid by his predecessor, emphasizing the importance of strengthening communication between Customs and the public.

He called for continued collaboration with the media and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information on Customs operations.

As he assumes his new role, expectations are high for CSC Sa’idu to enhance transparency, efficiency, and engagement between the Nigeria Customs Service and the public.
