CMF Congratulates Tom Garba On His Appointment As Executive Director, KSMC TV


The Christian Media Forum (CMF) has congratulates one of its own, Mr. Tom Garba, Publisher of TG News, on his well-deserved appointment as the Executive Director of Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC) Television.


This was contained in a statement jointly signed by its National President and Secretary, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson and Andrew Ibrahim Mshelia respectively, dated September 11, 2026.


"This appointment is a testament to Mr. Garba's sterling track record as a seasoned, fearless and principled journalist, whose commitment to truth, grassroots reporting, professionalism and community development has distinguished him in the Nigerian media landscape.


"Through TG News, Mr. Garba has revolutionized digital journalism in Kaduna, Adamawa and the entire Northern region, amplifying the voice of the voiceless, promoting accountability and upholding the highest ethical standards of the profession. His values of integrity, diligence and service align perfectly with the mission of KSMC TV," it said.


The statement added, "As a body of Christian media professionals, the CMF is particularly proud that a man of faith, character and competence has been found worthy for this strategic assignment. TNNM Moves To Hold Leaders Accountable, Inaugurates Kaduna Chapter

Customs FOU Zone ‘B’ Cracks Down On Smugglers Of Endangered Species

*Unit intercepts live pangolins along Kano–Jigawa axis The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone ‘B’, has intercepted two live pangolins being illegally transported along the Kano–Jigawa axis.   This was disclosed in a statement signed by the  CPRO  FOU Zone B, CSC NA Saidu, made available on Tuesday.   It informed that the arrest occurred on March 12, 2026 at about 10:00 hours. Operatives of the Unit, during a stop-and-search operation, flagged down the vehicle as part of a proactive enforcement sweep.   The seizure was effected pursuant to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), an international agreement that prohibits trade threatening the survival of wild species.   Upon interception, the animals were secured in appropriate cages and conveyed to the FOU Zone ‘B’ headquarters in Kaduna.
