International Youth Day: Hon.Chinazam Ike Calls For Greater Investment In Nigeria’s Youth




The Vice Presidential Candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Hon. Chinazam Ike, has congratulated Nigerian youths on the occasion of International Youth Day, urging government and stakeholders to make youth empowerment, skills development and employment a national priority.

He expressed this in a statement signed by his Media team, made available to journalists in Kaduna on Wednesday August  12, 2026.

Hon. Ike stressed that Nigeria’s youth are not merely leaders of tomorrow, but partners and leaders of today, whose energy, creativity and innovation must be harnessed for national development.

He called for deliberate policies that create opportunities, promote entrepreneurship and ensure meaningful participation of young Nigerians in governance and nation-building.

TNNM Moves To Hold Leaders Accountable, Inaugurates Kaduna Chapter

Customs FOU Zone ‘B’ Cracks Down On Smugglers Of Endangered Species

*Unit intercepts live pangolins along Kano–Jigawa axis The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone ‘B’, has intercepted two live pangolins being illegally transported along the Kano–Jigawa axis.   This was disclosed in a statement signed by the  CPRO  FOU Zone B, CSC NA Saidu, made available on Tuesday.   It informed that the arrest occurred on March 12, 2026 at about 10:00 hours. Operatives of the Unit, during a stop-and-search operation, flagged down the vehicle as part of a proactive enforcement sweep.   The seizure was effected pursuant to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), an international agreement that prohibits trade threatening the survival of wild species.   Upon interception, the animals were secured in appropriate cages and conveyed to the FOU Zone ‘B’ headquarters in Kaduna.
